PASIGHAT, Sept 9: The Central Solung Festival Sports Competition (CSFSC) 2022 concluded today in a befitting manner at the JNC playground amidst huge gathering. JNC Principal Dr. Tashi Talo and Director of Rashtriya Raksha University Avinash Kharel graced the occasion as Chief Guest and Guest of honor respectively and awarded the achievers. 

 

In football, the high voltage final match got off to a great start in which Ledum village and Sigar village stormed into the final of the Pasighat Solung Festival Football Tournament-2022 after beating their respective opponents in the final match played in the JNC playground here on Friday. Ledum thrashed Sigar by 4-1 goals in the thrilling final match and lift the trophy with fifty thousand cash prize.

 

Atanu Siram of Mirbuk Village was adjudged as the Highest Scorer, Latbong Ripuk of Sigar received the Best Goalkeeper while Nini Tapok of Ledum Village received the Player of the Tournament. All were awarded with cash prizes of Rs. 3000/- each along with medals and certificates. These were sponsored by Arun Tamuk of Diking Village. The Best Discipline Team of the Tournament was given to Oyan Village with a cash prize of Rs. 10,000/-

 

Sponsored by Tobom Dai, former GS, AAPSU, the winning team Ledum was awarded with a cash prize of Rs. 50,000/- medal, trophy and certificate while the runners up Sigar received Rs. 30,000/- cash prize. 

 

In Volleyball female category, 13 teams participated from East Siang District where the winner was Balek Village with a cash prize of Rs. 20,000/- along with medal, trophy and certificate and Runners up was Mirbuk Village with a cash prize of Rs. 10,000/- along with medal, trophy and certificates. In Male Category Sika Tode Village secured the winning and awarded with a cash prize of Rs. 20,000/- along with medal, trophy and certificate and Runners up was Mebo Village with a cash prize of Rs. 10,000/- along with medal, trophy and certificate.

 

In Arm Wrestling event, female category, 1st prize received by Onam Gamno, 2nd Prize by Dodi Perme and 3rd Prize by Diana Perme with a cash prize of Rs. 10,000/-, Rs. 8,000/- and Rs. 6,000/- respectively along with medal, trophy and certificates In male category 1st prize received by Diary Dupak, 2nd Prize  by Dosi Kobo and 3rd Prize by Sang Bodung with a cash prize of Rs. 10,000/-, Rs. 8,000/- and Rs. 6,000/- respectively along with medal, trophy and certificates.

 

In Archery event, 1st Prize, 2nd Prize and 3rd Prize received a cash amount of Rs. 10,000/-, Rs. 8,000/- and Rs. 6,000/- respectively along with medal, trophy and certificates.
